Safety center

Trust your instincts.

Technology can reduce risk, but it cannot eliminate it. You stay in control of contact, media access, and every in-person meeting.

Effective August 20, 2026Pre-launch policy draft — legal counsel review is required before public registration.

If danger is immediate

Contact local emergency services. FLINQ support is not an emergency-response service. Preserve messages, usernames, dates, and other evidence when it is safe to do so, then report the member at safety@flinq.dating.

Before meeting

  • Keep early conversation inside FLINQ and do not send money.
  • Video chat first when helpful, but remember video is not identity proof.
  • Meet in a populated public place, arrange your own transportation, and tell someone you trust.
  • Do not reveal your exact home, workplace, or routine until trust is earned.

Media privacy

Grant private-album access only when you choose, and revoke it at any time. FLINQ can deter ordinary downloading with private storage, expiring links, access checks, and watermarks, but no service can stop screenshots or external cameras completely.

What FLINQ reviews

To protect members and comply with law, uploaded media and communications may be checked by automated systems and authorized reviewers for suspected minors, exploitation, crimes, threats, scams, extortion, impersonation, and nonconsensual imagery. Review is limited to safety, security, support, and legal purposes.
